In general, even extraction is one of the keys to tasty coffee. WDT, or the Weiss Distribution technology, is designed to distribute the coffee evenly across the portafilter and thus allow for more even extraction and better espresso.
Stir with the NORMCORE WTT tool in a spirograph-like pattern and slowly move it from the bottom of the basket upwards.
Reduce the problem of channelling: by stirring, any coffee clumps are crushed and the density of the coffee in the puck is evenly distributed. The result is reducing channel formation and achieving even extractions.
